This is our HYDRUMP 3-way syringe for blowing air, water and mist inside the mouth. It connects to your delivery unit by a tube, and people pick it over a simple one-button version for the two-button layout.

With a single button you are always stuck in one mode, so you have to press again to change it. Here the left button controls the water flow and the right button controls the air flow, and when you press both at once it produces mist. That means during a filling you blow air first and then mist to wet the tooth, all without turning a knob on the unit.

A dentist in Bangkok tested an early batch and told us that with his old one-button syringe, every time he wanted mist he had to reach over and turn the knob on the unit. A composite filling used to take him around eleven minutes because he kept stopping to adjust it; now it takes about seven with two fingers to get the mist. That is why we kept the two-button design.

It runs at 0.25 to 0.30 MPa of air pressure with noise no more than 60 dB, and the push-button chuck lets you change the tip with one press and no spanner. The tip shank is 1.595 to 1.600 mm. The stainless body goes into the 135 degree sterilizer between patients, and it reaches a torque of 25 to 45 Ncm. It comes in silver, golden, purple or blue so you can match it to your unit. We sell it as Wenjian or under your own OEM brand.

On the first lot, the push button occasionally dropped the tip when people pressed hard. We tightened the chuck and now run ten thousand tip-pull cycles on every lot before it ships, and the tip holds firm.

This syringe suits chair-side drying, washing and mist spray. For endo irrigation with a needle, use a separate endo syringe instead. It comes as the 3-way syringe, two tips, the operation manual and a color box.
